I suppose...(2)

I guess you're wondering why there's a (2) there. My previous "I suppose..." post had too much information and I had to fix it. So this is the fixed product.

It's okay not to update your blog for a while especially if you have a cute and happy Mini-P like this one. You see, she turned 7 in May, which she claims was "the happiest day of her life". I suppose if I was 7, I would be happy, too.

This Mini-P was working on her Brownie bridging ceremony on her very special day. She never forgot it was her special day though.

And her Daddy wasn't about to let the celebration die down before she can have her own special time of day. With her own personal Tinkerbelle cake, gifts galore, and a huge Smiley Face mylar balloon.

And behind the scenes, I busied myself with the party planning and cutting these out for her caramel apple party favors. Each tag is hand-stamped, cut, and put together. No job is too big for Mini-P. It's raining frogs!

Let's not forget, I had to get the hand-stamped invitations out as well. This one's going to one of her BFFs. Stay tuned for the party posting.

What have I been up to?

Besides taking my Mini-P to her tee-ball games on Saturdays? Isn't she cute? Look at her pink helmet. There's a black glove with hot pink piping that goes with this uniform of hers. She's mine and she's perfect.

I've been creating cards. This one was purchased for a published author. She likes red and she writes about witches.

This one's for my cousin H and his wife, S. They're having their first baby. I thought I'd do a scrabble-type card. This is just the top part of the card but I had to take it on top of a colored background to show the effect. Cute idea, huh?

These cute bird ideas were picked up from a card I saw on the internet. I thought I'd take a stab at it and I was successful in casing the card. I don't know what her name is -- but thank you to you for inspiring me to make this one. I had to make 8 of these so I can use them for a group swap.

And this is an original idea I had for a friend's birthday card. I wanted her to feel special on her birthday. Doesn't every friend deserve a handmade card? Happy Birthday, Carlyn.

It's about time...

My Mommy updates her blog with my birthday party pictures. Look -- a bounce house. It was so much fun. I was the first one in there --- there was a slide, too. Yippppeeeee!

A birthday's not complete without cake and friends to celebrate with me. I love the Shrek colors on my cake.
Guess what I am? Why a Ladybug, of course.
My mommy got an awesome face painter to make it even more interesting. Brooke and Delaney loved purple and pink on their faces. Rrrrrraaaaahhhhhrrrr.

This is Ryan with his awesome full face paint mask on. Doesn't he look awesome? His eyes are closed --- can you tell? I told you she hired an awesome face painter.

And no birthday party is over without opening a living room full of gifts, right? Wait, I believe there's something behind this chair. I must find all the gifts. They are for me, aren't they? Mr. Smiley face says " YES!"

It's Easter! Let's see if the Easter Bunny came.

Are you ready to meet our bunnies? Okay, here are the first three. They greet everyone who comes through the door. Mini-P placed them side-by-side and I'm not allowed to separate them. They might get too cold. Cuddle up.

Oh, and let me show you what cute cookies I toiled over and baked. LOL Ummmm, I mean, what cute cookies Costco had for us. Aren't they perfect? I wish I had baked them. They were delicious. The Easter Bunny had one. He took bites out of the yellow egg cookie. I think that bunny looks a wee-bit funny but I won't say another word.

Oh and there are rainbow Peeps peeking from around the corner. We got them corraled in for a bit.

I scored some Williams-Sonoma Alabaster eggs, too. Blessed are they who shop at the last minute (or not). I got these on sale. I love sale prices but I don't like not finding what I really want when I want them because they are sale items. I take my chances. Just think of all the money I've saved doing that. (I crack myself up. This is in case my hubby is reading this.)

Okay, so mini-P wanted to color some eggs and she picked the Paas coloring package that has a squirter in it. Metallic paint. My goodness, what next? She's a good artist, so a little bit of newspaper spread and she was squirting that beautiful metallic paint all over the eggs. I must admit, they are nice after they finally dried. Look at my Alabaster eggs inside that cute basket. Isn't that cute?

You're never going to believe what I found at a local drug store. Two really cute Bearington Bunnies. They are about 2.5 inches high, one is holding a cabbage and one is holding a carrot. I am dying of cuteness. And a nice lady gave away some Lindt Chocolate Carrots. I had to have two to offer the two cuties here.

Alas! The most awaited moment did arrive (well, for this time of year anyway). The Easter Bunny came! Guess what he brought in her basket? A pair of bumble bee slippers, a Lindt Chocolate Bunny, and a couple of other chocolates. Mini-P doesn't indulge herself in chocolates and sweets so we're not afraid to let the Easter Bunny bring her whatever he wants to bring.

It wouldn't be an early morning delivery without some mini-milk cartons. Gotta have milk.

And I'm really hoping I got some Kudos for picking up this recycled tire floormat. Isn't it lovely? Sunflowers. I love yellow but that's not the only thing I love. I love that the colors of the mat pick up the colors from our front door and our house. That's what I call luck (for me). I'm usually eclectic with my color selections. If I like it, I'll pick it and it matters not if it really matches.

Well, that's all for now. I hope you can come visit again soon. Smile --- the Easter Bunny came and the best news of all is It's Easter -- He's Risen from the dead.

Is it Happy Easter yet?

See the cute bunny bottoms? I love these bunnies. And look at the chick commanding these cuties! I bet she thinks she's all that and a bag of chips. (sssshhh, she is but we won't tell her that) I got the ideas (for the bunnies and chick) from a great stamper, Andrea Walford. I visit her blog all the time to look for ideas. Her work inspires me to create.

Look at this chick card we created on card night. Aren't they cute?

Now, here's Mr. Peter Cottontail hopping down the bunny trail. I mean, here's the card I made with those cute bunnies. He's on his way to say hello to my special friends and family.

Now that I can upload photos, maybe I should work on uploading some more. Stay tuned.

Yes, yes, yes, I hear you.

I'm slow and a little busy. I am not high-tech. I will find something to post.

It's a beautiful spring day today. I wish I am as quick with my camera as I am with my feet. I have it in my purse and I really need to take it with me when I take a quick power walk during lunch.

Let's see. I have finished two cute cards but haven't taken pictures yet. I will post them here. Very cute and "Easter-y", too. Stay tuned. Keep smiling.

You're a Blogger now!

Hello!

Oh my! I'm actually here. I can't believe it. My friend, J, set me up. She's super. And lookie there on the left side where It's All About Me. See the cute little one sitting on the pea? That's my mini-P to the T. I love that little picture. My friend, J, did not only set me up, she really did all the things a blogger must do to start blogging. She clicked here and pasted that there and clicked some more and got me two or three of something. I don't know --- I just said "Help me, please" and there she was telling me to hush because she's busy. Then whoosh --- it was all done and ready for me. Well, I still have butterflies in my tummy because this is all new to me but I'll do my best.
So now, all I have to do is click on a pencil somewhere and start editing or something. ha ha ha I better maintain this blog or else "someone" will be mighty upset.
Thank you for stopping by. Check in once in a while to see what new things I come up with. And wait.... Smile and have a wonderful day.
